How much does a film cost in Montpellier?
Hardly anyone puts it in writing. Studio FLF, an agency from Angers that films in Montpellier, quotes €2,000 to €15,000 excl. VAT for a corporate film. On this list, ABV Films has a Prices page with no figures, but explains that its quote is worked out over three phases: pre-production, shoot, post-production. 98 Production writes that there is no standard rate. Only Zyra Production shows a price: ‘around €870 excl. VAT’ for a corporate video delivered in a week.

1. Capturit, video production and web agency in Occitania
Capturit writes, shoots and edits corporate films, brand films and adverts across Occitania. From Perpignan, Montpellier is under two hours' drive. We also build the websites that show these films, and that changes everything: a great film sitting on a site nobody visits earns you nothing.
With two providers, it's up to you to link the film to the page that has to show it. Here, the film is planned shot by shot knowing where it will be seen, and post-production stays in-house.

2. FrenchWood, brand films in Mauguio
FrenchWood presents itself as a video production and directing agency in Montpellier, with an address on rue Charles-Nungesser in Mauguio. It calls itself "La Fabrique à images" and mainly creates branded content for brands: product films, advertising spots, corporate films, 2D and 3D animation, executive production.
It lists PUMA Sweden, ASICS, Reebok, Airbus, Royal Canin, Septeo and Montpellier Métropole, as well as the FISE 2019 aftermovie. The references shown mostly date from 2019 to 2021, and it publishes neither prices nor its team. Choose it for a 2D or 3D animated film.
3. Artcam Production, documentaries and institutional films in Montpellier
Artcam Production was founded in Montpellier in 2011 by producer Nina Ardoin and director Manuel Deiller, on boulevard du Jeu de Paume. It runs two activities: documentaries shown on television and at festivals, and films for companies and institutions. It holds the Ecoprod label.
It lists INRAE, CIRAD, CEN Occitanie, the Syndicat Centre Hérault and Compost Plus. It also rents out equipment, and does not publish its prices. Choose it for a scientific or environmental subject that deserves a documentary eye.
4. 98 Production, video, drone and photography in Montpellier
98 Production is an agency based in Montpellier, claiming over 10 years' experience, a single point of contact and a quote within 24 hours. It makes corporate and institutional videos, event filming, music videos, photography and 4K drone footage. It also builds websites.
It lists Hyundai Béziers, CUPRA for the launch of the Raval in Montpellier and Orange Cyberdefense, and was drone operator for France Télévisions' 1pm news in the Camargue. It states that there is no standard rate. Choose it for a music video.
5. Global Films, corporate video in Montpellier
Global Films is a video agency on impasse Louis-Ferdinand-Hérold in Montpellier, with its head office in Saint-Jean-de-Védas. Its team is named: Louis Wajcman, who runs it, Mathéo Aurudreau, Yma Bellemin and François Roure. Each project has its own director and a dedicated project manager.
It makes presentation videos, customer testimonials, event films, employer branding and social media content. It claims more than 50 business clients and 5 out of 5 on Google, mentions BGE Montpellier Cœur d'Hérault, and advises getting in touch 2 to 6 weeks before the shoot. Choose it for a series of customer testimonials.
6. Zyra Production, corporate and wedding videos in Montpellier
Zyra Production is based on avenue du Val de Montferrand. "We come from film and television," it writes. It does corporate video, institutional films, brand films and drone work, but also weddings, and claims 10 years' experience and more than 500 projects.
It has a statement of intent approved before any travel, and works with a small crew and two cameras. It's the only one on this list to publish a price for business work: "around €870 excl. VAT", delivered in one week. It names neither clients nor team. Choose it for a wedding film.
7. ABV Films, production and live streaming in the Montpellier area
ABV Films is a production studio in the Montpellier metropolitan area, with its registered address in Saussan. Its team is named: Achille Boisson, Ulysse Boisson, Bastien Seon and Gino Cafagna on drone. It makes adverts, presentation films, tourism films and documentaries, including for communications agencies.
It also live-streams webinars, conferences, concerts and sport. Its Prices page shows no figures, and it doesn't name its clients in text. Choose it for an event you want to stream live.
8. 100% PROD, aftermovies and studio in Lattes
100% PROD is a video agency based in Lattes, on the edge of Montpellier, since 2016. It makes aftermovies, multi-camera filming, drone footage and institutional films, and rents out a recording studio for podcasts and video. It also offers SEO and social media management.
It lists the Montpellier Run Festival, Le Grau-du-Roi, UNICEM and the launch of Élixir magazine, and displays an "Excellent" rating from 12 Google reviews. No prices or named team on the pages we read. Choose it to hire a podcast studio.
9. SPOT STUDIO, cinema and fiction in Montpellier
SPOT STUDIO is a production company founded by Anthony Thédenat, with its studios and head office in Montpellier and an office in Paris. It produces short and feature films, documentaries and series, and offers executive production and post-production.
It mentions the short film L'ombre au tableau. Its site says nothing about corporate films or advertising: that isn't its stated business. Choose it if your project is fiction or a creative documentary.
